It has been beautifully restored and is now a place where you can concentrate on your wellbeing and pure relaxation.
Made up of two lodgings with separate entrances, making it the ideal location to meet every requirement. It is the perfect setting for a holiday with your partner or friends, just minutes from Desenzano Del Garda and Sirmione.
Nearby you can visit countless places to do with history, nature, and food and wine.

Antica Dimora dell’Ortolano is the oldest house in Castellaro Lagusello and stands opposite “Villa Arrighi” in the square, across from the ancient walls that surround the heart-shaped lake. It has retained its original shape since 1200, thanks to a recent, conservative renovation project that preserved its authentic style. The apartments feature ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta floors. The two lodgings with separate entrances have a kitchenette on the ground floor, and a bedroom with a bathroom upstairs. In addition to being fully furnished, the lodgings have air conditioning and WiFi. Free car parking spaces are available near the residence.

Discovering the village
The charming medieval village of Castellaro Lagusello, both picturesque and peaceful, is located in the Upper Mantua area, embraced by the moraine amphitheater of Lake Garda.
Dating back to the 11th–12th century, it has been included since 2002 among the “100 Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.” Still protected by its battlemented city walls, the oldest part of the fortified village of Castellaro is reflected in its heart-shaped lake, now a nature reserve that provides an ideal habitat for the region’s characteristic flora and fauna.
You enter the small village through a large gate topped by a tall square tower known as the “Clock Tower.” Walking through its narrow streets, you will come across the Old Romanesque Parish Church, now a Baroque church dedicated to Saint Nicholas, which houses a 15th-century wooden statue of the Madonna. Continuing on, you reach the lakefront square, where stand the 19th-century Villa Arrighi and the Chapel of Saint Joseph, incorporated into the villa — both originating from the transformation of the 13th-century feudal castle that once stood there.

13th century house restored while keeping the spirit of the place as much as possible.
No modernity here (but modern bathroom and air conditioning nonetheless ;)) but comfort in the rustic.
For lovers like me, I recommend places that tell a story.
The breakfast is really plentiful and varied.
È un posto isolato dalla strada e quindi non c'è via vai di macchine.
Il servizio è eccezionale e il cibo molto buono.
Inoltre un punto a favore di questo posto è il paesaggio...
CONSIGLIATISSIMO per chi vuole avere un luogo dove dormire e andare a visitare i dintorni.
Piscina e idromassaggio stagionali, grande area verde circostante con laghetto, appartamenti disposti a corte con ampio parcheggio e garage coperto tutto recintato.
Zona tranquilla immersa nella campagna tra Valeggio sul Mincio e il lago .....molto rilassante.
Ho apprezzato molto la simpatia, la disponibilità e la cordialità della padrona di casa, ci tornerò sicuramente appena ne avrò l'opportunità.
